PFPify.lol does not upload, collect, or store your photos on any server. All image editing, scaling, filtering, and border overlays happen directly inside your web browser using HTML5 Canvas technology.
1. Image Data Handling
When you select or upload a photo into PFPify.lol, the file is read locally using browser JavaScript FileReader APIs. Your photo never leaves your computer or mobile device. It is not sent to any database, cloud server, or external service.
2. Third-Party Services & Assets
PFPify.lol integrates optional public asset APIs to enhance your editor experience:
- Art Institute of Chicago API: Used when searching for public domain artwork backgrounds. Searches perform standard HTTP GET requests directly to the open Art Institute API endpoints. No user uploaded content is included in search queries.
- FlagCDN: Used when selecting country flag borders. Flag image files are loaded directly from FlagCDN servers.
- Google Fonts: Web font styles (Outfit and Inter) are loaded via Google Fonts CDN for high-quality UI typography.
3. Cookies & Analytics
PFPify.lol does not use tracking cookies or invasive third-party analytics trackers. Standard web hosting logs provided by Cloudflare Pages record aggregate network request metrics (such as page visit counts and HTTP status codes) to ensure service uptime and security.
4. Children's Privacy
Our service does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from anyone, including children under the age of 13, as no account registration or server data collection takes place.
